Ouch!! Frendly people around here... Ouch!! Frendly people around here... I'd prefer sticking to the topic. My thoughts: Let me say that the flight of the Dynamo is a thing of beauty! Smooth, predictable and handy. I think I rarely have seen such good handling at low speed. The demoflight at Jetpower clarly focused all this. Nothing to say about the moulding and finish, a real craftmanship masterpiece. Please allow me just a note (the gentlemen above said it right): it looks like a curvy Nick Ziroli Turbinator! Just have a look at these 3-views: same wing aspect ratio, same stab and fin layout shape; same air inlets and above all same under tail turbine exhaust!! I would not be surprised to find on the Dynamo thesame wing chord, wing area and stab area you have on the Turbinator This said, the flight characteristics of the Dynamo are no surprise, just grab some Youtube videos on the Shulman's Turbinator: same behaviour, and very same low speed handling. Scratch build Ziroli Turbinator is a little heavier, but "that" is. I've been building and flying model aircraft since the last 20 years and love Ziroli designs because they fly beautifully. The secret is just a high-lift, but high drag airfoil that gives super slow flight stability. And wing incidence angle versus tailplane incidence angle and flight line. That's it! The Dynamo has tremendous attractive look, but iI was just looking for a turbine trainer, I would get the real thing, I would get a Turbinator. Take care. Herold Ouch!! Frendly people around here...
