| SALTO 3800mm Cuccolo
Hi Sorry to write in English but my Italian is not really that good... A friend of mine and myself are interested in buying to kits from Cuccolo Aeromodelli. The idea would be to build a multi-purpose glider (for the flying field and the slope) and putting a strong electric propulsion into it. We often fly at noon and have no towplane. As the price is really interesting I imagine there are plenty of those models flying in Italy ? Before ordering I would have some questions to the community: - It would be nice to hear something about the flight characteristics... - What I could read on his site is that the wings have wooden wing spars. is this correct ? - Are the tubes for the wing joiner already glued into the wings ? - How do you fix the canopy ? is there a frame or do we have to produce one on our own ? Thanks a lot for your help and best regards from Switzerland Christoph |

Ciao Antonio Thanks very much for this quuuuuuuuuuick answer I'll check with Cuccolo, in fact installing the spars by cutting the obechi would be strange... and the flat steel joiners are a relict of the prehistoric times. You are right we would install a round steel joiner in a brass tube... Best regards Christoph |
