Video della partenza fatto dal nostro amico tedesco che anche quest'anno ha terminato la gara con il suo barchino a chiglia lunga di 92 cm . Tutta bolina quest'anno per lui ma non e' arrivato ultimo. Bravo! complimenti per la tenacia .

Magari se qualcuno avesse qualche foto in più della sua barca...

In teoria un rg 65 avrebbe dovuto tenere un passo di bolina similare, ma sotto il metro di lunghezza nessuno è stato più veloce o ha avuto la sua tenacia per arrivare in fondo.

Nel video e da lontano non la avevo notata, credo che sia un classe j con armo tradizionale (correggetemi se sbaglio) ad ogni modo una bellezza mi sono sempre piaciuti questi tipi di scafo

I hope you don't mind that I'll respond in english. Sadly I only understand fragments of your beautifull language and I wouldn't dare to write some italian notes.

First of all a great Thank You to the Ladies and Gentlemen at the Yacht Club Verona for this perfectly organized and outstanding event! I had a great day and after a tight finish with Giovanni someone must have managed to ring the church bells when my boat crossed the finish line!!!

Congratulations to all the winners and everyone who took the finish line! Deepest admiration to Riccardo Bonechi and Stefano Schwartze, both had breakdowns early in the race but managed to finish the race. Never give up - that's the spirit you want to see in this unique race!

Claudio, second win in a row! Congratulations and I hope you'll take the 3 hour limit next time!
Refolo, grazie for the 10Miglia15Compensata, so I got a top ten ranking!!!
In our semi-scale events we use a similar yardstick with LWL, displacement and sail area, I'll try it out for this race when I have sorted out some things of my second life here after my holidays.

questo il video diario della 10 miglia di Giovanni. Dove anche il solo arrivare al traguardo diventa gioia immensa. Grande . Questo filmato da proprio l'idea di come si vive questa particolare regata.

Ciao , scusa ma ero un po rilassato .
Si certo la 10 Miglia ci sara' come al solito , stiamo in questi giorni organizzando la regata e contiamo di introdurre delle piccole modifiche atte a rendere ancora piu' interessante l'evento .
Verra' introdotta probabilmente una nuova boa che verra' posizionata all'interno della baia subito dopo la partenza , per dare ancora piu' chance alle barche che danno il meglio con poca aria . Poi ci sara' una classifica in tempo "rettificato" che dara' il giusto merito anche a chi non ha il barcone grande . Abbiamo fatto delle simulazioni in merito e devo dire che mi piace molto .
La regata sara' l'11 Settembre 2016 e appena sara ' tutto pronto apriro ' un topic dedicato all'evento con la pubblicazione del bando di regata.

I'm quite confident and it shouldn't be too far from IOM-level ;-)

two questions about your boat :
what is the Length Over All (LOA) ?
what is the Length Water Line (LWL) ?

LOA is 950 mm

LWL should be 935 mm,
but I will check this at the pond with the bigger battery and the biggest rig next sunday.


PS: my best practice is to translate the foreign language via google translate into english and then, when needed, into my native language
