Un rapidissimo intervento perché sto leggendo parecchie cose fuorvianti ed inesatte e mi pare giusto puntualizzare. Il passaggio da DSM2 a DSMX non è avvenuto per eliminare i cloni o per altre ragioni più o meno fantasiose. La ragione è solo una ed INELUDIBILE: la normativa europea sulle telecomunicazioni, secondo la quale - detta in termini terra terra - deve avvenire un salto di canale perlomeno ogni 8 millesecondi. O ci si adegua o si è fuori norma, chiaro?

Secondo lo standard armonizzato (v. EN 300-328 v.1.7.1, clausola 4.3.4), il limite è di 400 millisecondi:

4.3.4 Frequency hopping requirements
The requirements in this clause are only applicable to equipment using Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) modulation.
4.3.4.1 Dwell time
4.3.4.1.1 Definition
The dwell time is the time spent at a particular frequency during any single hop.
4.3.4.1.2 Limit
The maximum dwell time shall be 0,4 s.
