I would like to present you the upcoming event we are organising in Spain - called Marugan Aero Meeting - Iberian Freestyle Championship.

Related to Model Aircraft, that is the Iberian Freestyle Championship, a freestyle-based competition with giant aerobatic models. The official website of the event is: Untitled Document and here I post a video and an extract of the official website IFC presentation.



Air Marugán, together with Club de Aeromodelismo Los Halcones de Segovia, are glad to announce the IBERIAN FREESTYLE CHAMPIONSHIP, a spanish-official Radio Controlled aerobatic championship that will be held in the Model Aircraft designated area of the aerodrome. This world-level event is based on Freestyle Flight, which is the most popular and favorite kind of RC aerobatics, both for the pilots and the audience. In Freestyle competitions the pilots perform own-designed aerial choreographies synchronized with music, with a lot of visual effects such as smoke, or pyrotechnics. Actually, giant-model Freestyle flight is the most spectacular and fast-growing style of RC aerobatics worldwide. Freestyle flight is typically also known as artistic aerobatics.

The list of pilots includes the best freestyle pilots of Europe, such as the Austrian Gernot Bruckmann; the French Fabien Turpaud; the Lithuanian Donatas Pauzuolis and the Italian Filippo Materazzi. As well as the Spanish freestyle top pilots like Juan Sánchez, Luis Fco. Bernardos and Martin Pickering. Nevertheless, the registering for the contest is open to any pilot worldwide, under a selection procedure for not exceeding the maximum participants’ number.

Complementary to the MAM exhibitors, there will be Model Aircraft exhibitors, in a special designated area with great views of the IFC competition flights. This is a great scenario for presenting your brand new products.
