As usual new Firmware notifications will be automatic, and system will prompt users of the presence of new updates once powered unit is connected to a Windows PC or Android devices or iOS devices with Internet connection active.
For those with Brain2/iKon2 that do not frequently use the APP/Software (because the flight controller unit is fine as it was set up), let's take a look at what is coming with this update (for free) in addition to previous versions already released:

- Software: 3.4.239, Firmware: 3.4.239 (71° official release), 30 July 2025:

• For users adjusting the tail gain to too high values causing strong fluctuations in the tail, the repetition of event 106 “The required Rudder speed is higher than the model can achieve” is limited to a maximum of 4 times per second in order not to saturate the events
• At the request of several users, the ‘Tail Motor Driven’ icon is now also active for Brain 2 standard and Brain 2 BT
• At the request of some users, by adding the option “-comselection” in the command line, when the configuration app is run, a small window appears first for selecting the COM, which is useful for those who have paired more than one Bluetooth module with their PC and do not want to wait for automatic recognition to complete
• in ADVANCED section 4 “Servos” added the subpanel for the regulations of the excursions of “B-Aux3/CH4” auxiliary servo output
• Added the blue event n.75 “Saved Configuration file”
• Added the green Event 11 “Init Completed”
• In DIAGNOSTIC, tab "Recorded log" if you press "Clear Video" the buffer of already downloaded flights is emptied, so that you can download again
• By setting all loggable parameters to “No Log”, the received RPM value on GOV port (parameter 11) can still be displayed in the Real Time tab
• Now, csv files (Recorded Logs.csv, Events.csv) altered by loading and saving in other applications that double the number of carriages returns at the end of each line are also recognized, accepted and uploaded
• Shortened some of the names of loggable parameters by eliminating blank spaces and also eliminating the gaps between the end of the label and the next checkbox so that they are all visible even with reduced screens and/or low resolutions
• AileronOut & ElevatorOut signals are read and displayed in Real Time Logs and in Recorded Logs also when “FLYBARRED” is selected in “Main Rotor Blade Size” panel 10 of the Wizard
• Added Info buttons to the ‘RealTime Logs’, ‘Recorded Logs’, “Vibrations” and ‘Events’ tabs in the DIAGNOSTIC section, which display inside balloons the instructions for those specific panels
• Now, even in Demo Mode, new users can see how the firmware update window is designed and how it works (but it is not possible to update the firmware when in demo mode without a flight controller connected)
• Added some functions in the firmware for diagnostic purposes to facilitate and speed up diagnosis and technical support to users who request it
• New version of embedded document “README_for_OpenTX_EdgeTX_integration_for_BRAIN. pdf”
• New version of embedded doc. “README_for_SRXL2_&_MULTI_module_integration_for _BRAIN.pdf”
• Corrected, improved, and made some paragraphs of the instructions clearer and more complete
• Revised French instructions
• Improvements / optimization / compression / size reduction / code speedup

Android / iOS apps:
All new features and improvements already listed for this "Software & "Firmware” release and in previous releases

As usual, the release of Android and especially iOS apps publication still needs some time for testing and approval by Google & Apple
