Ringrazio dei suggerimenti che sicuramente, come già fatto in altre occasioni, metterò in pratica, ma la cosa mi fa veramente girare le palle.
Non ci crederete ma ieri ho scritto direttamente alla Futaba in Japan, le radio sono una pulce nella loro attività industriale, è stanotte mi ha risposto Mr. Sawamura, il quale non ha fatto altro che confermare la procedura da voi descritta.
A questo punto il vero problema non è la radio, ma l'importatore della radio, ossia la Radiosistemi.
Ancora una volta non perdiamo occasione di fare la solita figura da ITALIANI.
Per gli scetici, di seguito la corrispondenza con Futaba:

Concerning your question, as Radiosistemi told you that there is no way for data transfer purpose from 14MZ to 18SZ directly.
Because there are many software addition since 14MZ. (Especially telemetry data format.) Sorry for the inconvenience...

But I would like to offer you following procedure. It's not very simple but I think you will have solution.

1. 14MZ's data can be converted to 18MZ. If you read 14MZ's model data by a 18MZ. It would be converted automatically.
2. So the converted data is now 18MZ's model data. Then you can convert from 18MZ to 18SZ by a model converter software by PC.

I don't think you have 18MZ. Parhaps is it possible, you send 14MZ's model data or CF card to Radiositemi and ask for data conversion from 14MZ to 18MZ?
Then you can convert 18MZ's model data by a model converter by yourself.

*One important thing is that once you convert model date from 14MZ to 18MZ, it can not be re-convert. (One direction.) Maybe you better to save 14MZ's model data in CF card or PC.

Lascia fare che magari ti ha detto anche bene. In RS hanno anche qualche problema con i numeri Radiosistemi S.p.a. :: Modelli Dinamici Radiocomandati . Quando mai la T18MZ è costata 4000€? Loro stessi la vendono a Radiosistemi S.p.a. :: Modelli Dinamici Radiocomandati
