Thank you Piero, I will look there for your comments on piston/cylinder materials. For the interest of others I attach the HS-15 which is the current FAI World Record holder.
I have a copy of the article on the "Carter 29" which was derived from the Dooling 29 if anyone is interested. This was used by Ray "Gadget" Gibbs to set the World Record back in the 1950's.
