sorry Ron, this time I have not been able to understand a couple of things:

what is the difference between dlrk and lrk.
by the discussion you posted here, my understanding is that D means delta connection of the windings, and without D is for star connection.

if this is true, it is normal on industrial three phase motors to have two different supply voltages using one connection or the other.

in fact the difference is 1,73 (square root of 3) times higher the voltage to supply the motor when it is star connected, to obtain the same mechanical power.

and if we use a motor with a wrong combination (ie star connected with low voltage or the opposite), we obtain a oveloaded motor with low power output and overheating and in case of delta connection with too much voltage applied, we have iron saturation and overheating again (and a rotating, egg and bacon cooking device ).

did I'm wrong?
