The picture of me aren't from Lema, they are from Gebidempass ( www.gebidempass.ch).
It was indeed a special weather conditions, we call it "Föhn". This wind is caused by pressure difference from the north to the south side of the Alps.
You fly there on the lee side of the Sempione, the wind comes down in the vally (Nanztal) and then rises again 500m to the Gebidempass. The Wind was approx 70-90 km/h |
