Ma a parità sostanziale di questi dati cosa porta a prendere un motore che spinge meno (costo escluso, ma gia' che la compri non e' poi quella la differenza importante)?
Non e' meglio prendere la piu' potente riducendo la spinta con la manetta o il limite di giri a tutto vantaggio di un sfruttamento minore?

A me sembra assurda o semplicemente commerciale una differenziazione di gamma come proposta.

When you throttle back the efficancy drops dramaticly. So T15 at 1.9kg thrust will use less fuel then T35 throttled back to 1.9kg thrust. Also the smaller compressor and turbine of the T15 will spool faster etc.
When going small it's all about making it as optimal as you can. Shaving of 100grams might be 15% of the total flying weight ;)
