sono riuscito a trovare, on line, una sorta di manuale di settaggio per questo regolatore.
Lo copio qua per eventuale utilizzo da parte di altri che avessero la mia stessa necessità.

RC 30A ESC Manual

The Speed control must be hooked up to a motor and a receiver before connecting a battery.
When you hook up a battery to the speed control, there is about a 5 second silence, and then the speed control goes through a start-up sequence of tones. You will hear one of two different sequences.

1. Long beep… … …5 spaced beeps. The long beep is indicating that the speed control is set for Lipo batteries. This is the default setting from the factory.
2. Three short beeps… … …5spaced beeps. The three short beeps are indicating that the speed control is set for Nimh/Nicd batteries.

Please wait for all tones to cease before attempting to throttle up.

This speed control allows you to select for the type of battery being used, and you can turn the brake on and off.

To change settings:
 Connect the motor and receiver to the speed control
 Do not connect it yet
 Turn on the transmitter and move the throttle stick to the full power position (Throttle up)
 Now connect the battery to speed control.

After a short pause, you will hear beep…beep…beep beep…beep beep… beep beep beep…beep beep beep. At this point, the series of beeps will start over with the same sequence. Go ahead and try it, but do not move the throttle sticks. Leave it at full on position and simply unplug the battery once you become familiar with the sequence.

The beeps are indicating programming choices. You will simply move the throttle stick to the off position to select a setting represented by the beeps.

The choices are:

1. Single beep – moving the throttle stick to the off position will select for Lipo batteries.
2. Two beeps – moving the throttle stick to the off position selects for Nimh/ Nicd batteries.
3. Three beeps - moving the throttle stick to the off position changes the brake setting to the opposite of what it is currently set at. The brake can be on or off, there are no other setting

After you moving the throttle stick to the off position, you will hear a confirming beep. Then the speed control will go into its normal start up sequence of tones. To change another setting, simply unplug the battery at this point and start from the beginning.
