The problem here is not due the receiver, but to the lenght of the extension cable.
Indeed, the interference will be received from the signal cable and not from the receiver, bypassing all the benefits of a 2.4Giga system.
In my last post, i said that using a long straight extension cable you can have problems, simply connecting the servo tester, excluding the whole receiver/transmitter system, and a 40 inch cable is a perfect antenna.
The solution to this problem is to use a simple twisted extension cable , and clayrega, yes the twisted cable is necessary also with a 2.4 gigs system.
