The 65mm fan for highest dynamic thrust
The DS-26-DIA HDT is based on the DS-30-DIA HDT and is with 65mm diameter our smallest fan unit. Its aerodynamic characteristics are a perfect match for small and fast EDF jets. The rotor has only 3 blades which however have a big depth for an efficient airflow.



Unlike other ducted fans of this diameter class its short rotor unit runs very smoothly and does not even overload a thin 3.17 mm shaft with undesirable resonance vibrations. Like his "big brothers" the DS-26-DIA HDT is also fully made of carbon fibre.



All ducted fans of the DS-XX-DIA HDT series come fully assembled, fine-balanced and quality-checked, you simply have to install your motor and the system is ready to fly.

The DS-75-DIA HDT is based on the larger DS-94-DIA HDT and constructed in the same way with its outer diameter being reduced to 110mm. The smaller DS-75-DIA HDT can be used in models of the former 7.5cm³ ducted fan class.

The 120mm fan for highest dynamic thrust
With a fan swept area of 94cm² and a diameter of 120mm the DS-94-DIA HDT is currently our biggest and most powerful ducted fan. This fan can efficiently convert power inputs of up to 5.7KW into a very high thrust impulse - thus being an ideal alternative for turbines of the 80N-class.

Along with the design of its predecessor - the DS-94-DIA 3-ph - we developed the 8mm shaft system - by now an established and absolutely necessary size for handling the high motor powers in a 120mm fan unit. The optionally available Secure Fan Fix system now also provides the possibility to precisely and securely fix the ducted fan within the fuselage.

Like all our ducted fans the DS-94-DIA HDT is also produced in CAD-CAM molds, hand-laminated and assembled in Paderborn.
